About the Program
The Queens Community Closet is an initiative of the Showing Hearts Foundation, a Queens-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to educating, empowering, and uplifting communities.
We collect clothing, household items, and daily essentials through corporate and community donations, then distribute them for free through community closet events hosted by local churches and organizations across Queens.
Every item is free. No questions asked. No income verification required. If you need it, it’s yours.
